Foundation Level Shamanic Practitioner’s Course, Module One:

The Shamanic Soul

This first module of the Foundation Level Shamanic Practitioner’s Course, highlights the origin and philosophy behind the ancient practice of Shamanism, the oldest Spiritual discipline known to us and how it has evolved throughout the centuries to modern-day Shamanic practice, which is so necessary in our 21st Century world.  We will look at the how the Shamanic Practitioner interacts and builds life-long relationships with Spirit Guides, Ancestors, Power animals, Angels and the Energies of the Land. How the Shamanic ‘Otherworld’ is structured and most importantly, this module teaches the practical core aspects of the ‘Shamanic Journey’.  This is the first step in the ‘Journey of the Shaman’ and discovering your Shamanic Soul.  Participation in this one day module offers 100 points towards the overall point score for full Practitionership in Shamanism.

Foundation Level Shamanic Practitioner’s Course, Module Two:

The Journey of the Wolf: Discovering Your Soul Path

This second module of the Foundation Level Shamanic Practitioner’s Course deals directly and personally with where the student is currently at in their Spiritual journey and where they have come from.  It’s impossible to know where you are, if you are unaware of where you came from.  This module deals directly with the people we once where, where we are and where we would like to be going, what we could have done better in our lives and developing the more Spiritual person we wish to become.  This is hugely important on the path of the Shamanic Practitioner, the path of being authentic and real, especially in what can, at times, be a very ‘false’ world.  To practice the ways of the Shaman and guide others on their Spiritual path, we must, ourselves, be sure of our own journey and how to achieve our goals and find our direction.  This module teaches reliance and trust in our Spirit Guides to see us through the difficult times and recognise that we are Spirits in body first and not just a body with a Spirit.  We will also look at some of the Shamanic rituals, techniques and tools that will help us in the work that we do.  Participation in this module offers 100 points towards full practitionership in Shamanism.

Foundation Level Shamanic Practitioner’s Course, Module Three:

The Path of the Shamanic Healer

This third module in the Foundation Level Shamanic Practitioner’s Course, The Path of the Shamanic Healer, looks at the meaning of healing in the Spiritual context and the various healing techniques employed by the Shamanic Practitioner.  The Shamanic Practitioner is renowned for the ability to heal and to bring balance to those who seek their help.  In this module, we will look at the basis of therapies such as Soul Retrieval and what is the consequence of Soul Loss, Past Life Healing and Ancestral healing.  The Shamanic Practitioner is a ‘worker with energy’ and one of the most important tasks for the Practitioner is to clear, or extract negative energy from their clients.  Negative energy can attach to us in many ways, from past life trauma, as a result of ancestral energies passed down the family line and even, as a consequence of our everyday lives.  It is the role of the Shamanic Practitioner to cleanse and balance these energies.  We will look at how the Shamanic Practitioner goes about these processes, through connection with Spirit and through the use of sound, frequency and vibration.  Finally, we will provide an overview on one of the most beautiful and essential Shamanic roles, that of the Shamanic Psychopomp, the one that guides souls through the gateway of death and into the loving hands of their Spirit Guides.  Participation in this module offers 100 points towards full practitionership in Shamanism.

Foundation Level Shamanic Practitioner’s Course, Module Four:

The Way of the Snake: Masks of Transformation

In module four in the Foundation Level Shamanic Practitioner’s Course: The Way of the Snake: Masks of Transformation, we will again look at the Spiritual path of the student and help develop the apprentice Shamanic Practitioner’s Spiritual goals and direction.  As the Snake sheds its skin, so can we.  It is never too late, or too difficult, to address those aspects of our lives that are not working and which do not fit into our ‘Spiritual future’ life.  We can change these aspects of our lives by changing our personal stories and be the person we truly want to be. In this module, with the help of our Spirit Guides and the influence of Jungian psychology, we will be all we can be.  We will look at the false masks we have worn to fit in to our toxic societies and our toxic relationships.   As a marker for change in this module, we will build a mask representing the person we once were and the negativity we carried, when it is finished, we will destroy this mask and build a mask for the person that we truly are and what we want to bring into our lives.  This is a symbolic representation of us ‘shedding our skin’.  In this module also, we will look at some of the other Shamanic skills necessary for the Practitioner, including the Vision Quest and Shamanic divination, which will also help us on our Spiritual path.  Participation in this module offers 100 points towards full practitionership in Shamanism.

Intermediate Shamanic Practitioners Course

Intermediate Shamanic Practitioners Course, Module One:

The Shamanic Otherworld

In this first module of the Intermediate Shamanic Practitioners Course, The Shamanic Otherworld, we will look at the nature and structure of the Shamanic Otherworld, or the world of Spirit.  Shaman have always been the ancient map-makers of the Spirit world.  We will look at how our helping guides and Spiritual allies can bring healing, balance and direction to our 21st Century lives.  The quality and effectiveness of a Shamanic Practitioner, is in direct proportion to the quality of relationship that they have with their guides.  The way of the Shaman is the way of direct revelation, in other words, the Shamanic Practitioner meets Spirit directly, we have never needed the mediating influence of organisations and institutions to meet our God and the Spirits.  This is available to us through the ‘Shamanic Journey’.  In this module, we will look in more depth at what aid can be found through our Guides, Angels, Power Animals and Ascended Masters.  We will explore the cosmology of the Shamanic Otherworld and the earth energies that we connect to, including Elves, Faeries, Elementals and Nature Spirits.  We will also further define the nature of the Afterlife, from the work of Brian Weisz, Jane Roberts and Michael Newton and, of course, the ancient Shamanic wisdom.  We will have a more further look at the role of the Shamanic Psychopomp.  Participation in this module offers 200 points towards the overall point score for full Practitionership in Shamanism.

Intermediate Shamanic Practitioners Course Module Two:

Shamanic Divination

In this module two of the Intermediate Shamanic Practitioners Course: Shamanic Divination, we will look at one of the central roles of the Shamanic Practitioner, that of medium and diviner of future events.  The role of the Shaman in the ancient Clans carried huge responsibility.  In many ways the ancient Shaman would determine whether the Clan would thrive or survive, in that, the Shaman would connect with Spirit to discover hunting areas, or areas of usable water, safe places to live and many other essential tasks, necessary for the survival of the Clan.  In this module, we will analyse how the ancient Shaman would carry out these tasks, what tools they would use, including Ogham divination, dowsing, astrology, tarot and other divination methods.  The student will be shown how to use these tools and how it is our birthright as human beings to connect with Spirit to gain information about future paths and future events.  The issue of time is central to this process and the student will be shown how to ‘track their timeline’, into the past and into the future to discover essential information for themselves and those that seek their help.  Participation in this  module offers 200 points towards the overall point score for full Practitionership in Shamanism.

Intermediate Shamanic Practitioners Course, Module Three:

Healing with Sound and Frequency

In this module three of the Intermediate Shamanic Practitioners Course, Healing with Sound and Frequency, we highlight the some fundamental aspects of Shamanic healing through the use of music, sound and frequency.  It is suggested that the use of sound was used in Atlantis for healing and other functions.  The modern Shamanic Practitioner continues this tradition, through the use of Tibetan bells and bowls, drums, rattles and chanting, to clear energy and restore balance.  In this module, we will also be looking at more modern advances in sound use and therapy, including the work of Robert Monroe and brain hemisphere synchronisation.  We will also look at the use of brain entrainment tones to initiate relaxation and healing and Solfeggio frequencies to clear and align chakras.  Participation in this  module offers 200 points towards the overall point score for full Practitionership in Shamanism.

Intermediate Shamanic Practitioners Course, Module Four:

The Shamanic Land

In module four of the Intermediate Shamanic Practitioners Course, The Shamanic Land, we look in greater depth at the energies of the land.  The ancient Shamanic peoples of Ireland had a profound connection with the land, the seasons and the energies around them.  They practised what has come to be known as the ‘Faery Faith’, with a fundamental belief in Elves, Faeries, Elementals, Leprechauns and Nature Spirits, paying great reverence to them at stone circles and sacred sites.  The modern Shamanic practitioner has a profound understanding of these energies and, in Ireland, would work with them for the benefit of the people and the land.  In this module, we will look at how the ancient peoples connected with these energies, used the ‘Wheel of the Year’ and how each season has its own particular energy.  We will also look at how there are some toxic natural energies, such as geopathic stress, that can be detected, measured and eradicated by ancient means, in an attempt to heal the earth and allow people to live in safety on the land.  Participation in this module offers 200 points towards the overall point score for full Practitionership in Shamanism.

Advanced Shamanic Practitioners Course

Advanced Shamanic Practitioners Course: Module One:

Soul Retrieval

In this first module of the Advanced Shamanic Practitioner Course, we will look at the ancient Shaman practice of Soul Retrieval.  Soul Retrieval deals with the issue of soul loss due to trauma. We all experience trauma in our lives and in extreme circumstances, a ‘Soul part’ leaves to protect itself from the damage of the trauma. This trauma can be anything from childhood abuse, the break-up of a relationship, a bodily trauma, injury, accident, or difficult and painful relationships. Anything that the individual perceives as trauma. Individuals with major soul loss often feel as if there is ‘a piece missing’, they have huge blocks of memory loss at significant periods in their lives and they often suggest that they feel ‘disconnected’ from themselves. These are typical signs that a soul piece has not returned following trauma. Physical, emotional and psychological illness commonly arise as part of this soul loss and this has risen to epidemic proportions in our 21st Century world.  This also mirrors the mainstream psychological concept of ‘disassociation from the self’, however, mainstream psychotherapy only goes so far in reaching the disassociated person. Soul Retrieval goes directly to the core, or soul to bring back peace of mind, motivation and healing. In the ancient shamanic societies throughout the world, the shamanic practitioner has been charged with the task of connecting with her or his helping Spirits in an attempt to return these lost soul pieces. In this module, the Shamanic theory and techniques involved in Soul Retrieval are highlighted, ultimately, allowing the participants to practice this intensive therapeutic method. Participation in this  module offers 300 points towards the overall point score for full Practitionership in Shamanism.

Advanced Shamanic Practitioners Course: Module Two:

Shamanic Energy Healing: Advanced Vibration and Sound

The Shamanic Practitioner has always been a worker with energy, all types of energy, specifically Sound, Frequency and Vibration.  In this Second module in the Advanced Shamanic Practitioner Course, we highlight some of the Shamanic applications of Sound, Frequency and Vibration in terms of Healing, both ancient and more modern.  All of this done with the participation of our Spirit Guides.  This module will teach the direct application of sound and frequency to cleanse and balance the body’s energy, thus creating the space for good health to develop.  We will also look at the practise of various types of Reiki and ‘hands-on’ healing, specifically Ama Deus Shamanic Reiki.  These intelligent, Universal energies will boost the client’s immune system and allow fundamental healing to take place. As with all Shamanic practice, the ethics of the student is of the utmost importance, we will look at what this means in professional practice and how we should carry out our Shamanic practice in the most positive way.  In this module there is an extra qualification and certificate in Ama Deus Shamanic Reiki. Participation in this  module offers 300 points towards the overall point score for full Practitionership in Shamanism.

Advanced Shamanic Practitioners Course: Module Three:

Ancestral and Past Lives Healing

In this third module of the Advanced Shamanic Practitioners Course, we will look at two of the most core healing techniques known to the Shamanic Practitioner.  Ancestral Healing and Past Lives Healing. Every family carries some elements of negative energy within the family tree. This is unavoidable, as in some cases, negative behaviour patterns become ‘locked’ into the energetic structure of our DNA. Examples of this includes, lowered self esteem, abusive relationship patterns, addictions and depression. All these factors can combine within the family system, resulting in dysfunction amongst its members down though the generations.  Historically, in many cases, such dysfunction has been addressed by shamanic methods.  This has been a core function of indigenous shamanic practitioners throughout the centuries.  The practice of Past Lives Healing, also, has been used in the majority of cultures around the world, including Celtic culture. The general understanding was that the soul goes on through many lives. That following each life, our soul expands through the learning we have experienced.   Also, in many cases, it has been found that we can carry more negative aspects or energies from each life through to the following lives. These energies, or ‘shadows on our soul’ can result from great trauma experienced in a life, or indeed through the Karmic debt that occurs when we live our lives in a negative way.  This is then cleansed and released from the person.  This module will allow the student to develop the skills necessary to practice these techniques.  Participation in this  module offers 300 points towards the overall point score for full Practitionership in Shamanism.

Advanced Shamanic Practitioners Course: Module Four:

Gateways to the Soul

This fourth and final module in the Advanced Practitioner Course explores aspects of the work of the Shamanic Psychopomp, or those Shamanic Practitioners who work with Souls that are passing, or have passed on from this dimension.  This is beautiful and essential work for humanity and very necessary in our 21st Century world.  Involved in this is the journey of the Soul following death and how the Shamanic Practitioner tracks the progress of Souls with their Spirit Guides within the geography of the ‘Land of the Dead’ .   We will also look at reasons that souls become ‘trapped’ within this earth dimension, how these Souls can be released, and how to work with Soul in transit in the most compassionate way .  Most importantly, we will show the student how to find their Spirit Guide for Psychopomp work.  As with all Shamanic work, it is essential that the Practitioner is fully protected and safe within their Shamanic Journeys, this is especially the case in this module, especially given the toxic nature of those Souls that are trapped.  As part of this module, we will also look at practical Shamanic practices around negative energy extraction and application.  Participation in this  module offers 300 points towards the overall point score for full Practitionership in Shamanism.
